Duties

- Prepare and bake a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and bread
- Decorate cakes with qualified cake decorating techniques to meet customer specifications
- Assist with food preparation and cooking tasks in the kitchen
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are strictly followed
- Package baked items for sale or delivery, maintaining quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product selections and inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and baking areas
- Follow recipes accurately and adapt as needed for special orders or dietary requirements




- Support the team during busy periods by efficiently managing multiple tasks

Experience

- Previous experience in cake decorating, baking, or food preparation is preferred
- Restaurant experience or work within the food industry is highly desirable
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with kitchen equipment, baking tools, and packaging materials
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic understanding of food industry standards related to cleanliness, safety, and quality assurance

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour
