Cameron’s Flower Shop is looking for a reliable, energetic individual to join our team in a full-time, entry-level position. This role is a great opportunity for someone interested in flowers, customer service, and the day-to-day workings of a busy flower shop.

We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes pride in their work, and is interested in becoming a strong member of our flower shop team.

No professional floral design experience is required. Some knowledge of flowers or previous flower shop experience is a bonus, but we are happy to train the right person.

Position Overview

This position combines flower processing and shop support with sales and customer service responsibilities. You’ll help keep fresh product properly cared for and organized while also assisting customers and supporting our team.

As you gain experience and product knowledge, there will be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities and continue developing your skills within the shop.

Responsibilities

- Receive, unpack, process, and properly care for fresh flowers and greenery
- Clean, cut, hydrate, and organize incoming floral product
- Maintain flower coolers and ensure product is fresh, organized, and properly rotated
- Clean buckets, work areas, coolers, and processing equipment
- Assist with inventory, supplies, and general shop organization
- Help maintain attractive and well-stocked retail displays
- Greet and assist customers in-store and over the phone




- Learn our products and help customers select flowers, plants, gifts, and arrangements
- Take and process customer orders accurately
- Assist with POS transactions and basic sales responsibilities
- Prepare orders for pickup and delivery
- Support floral designers and other team members as needed
- Assist with general day-to-day flower shop duties

- Comfortable being on your feet and completing physical tasks throughout the day
- An interest in flowers, plants, design, or retail
- Basic flower knowledge is an asset, but not required
- Previous retail, customer service, or sales experience is an asset
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours during busy floral seasons

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour
