Job Summary

Kitchens Unlimited is looking for a part time Retail Sales Clerk to join us for Sundays, 12 pm - 5 pm, through the holiday season, until December 20th. In this role enthusiasm and a customer-focused mindset drives sales and creates memorable shopping experiences. In this role, you will engage with diverse customers, showcase product features, and provide expert guidance to help shoppers find the perfect solutions. Your energetic approach will contribute to a lively store environment, ensuring customers leave satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Conduct engaging product demonstrations and explain features clearly to enhance customer understanding
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and offering personalized recommendations
- Manage point-of-sale (POS) transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing payments
- Upsell products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain organized merchandising displays that attract customers and promote featured items
- Handle phone inquiries professionally,



providing information and directing calls as needed
- Support store organization through inventory management, stock replenishment, and ensuring a clean shopping environment

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred; technical sales experience is a plus
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, POS transactions, and sales calculations
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Experience with merchandising, product demos, and upselling techniques
- Familiarity with retail tools such as POS systems and cash registers (cashiering experience)
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and team members
