Rosebud Cannabis is seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Budtender to join our team. You will serve as a friendly face and knowledgeable guide for customers exploring our cannabis products. Rosebud is not a top-down micromanaged franchise and we'd like people who are copacetic with that mindset. Excellent customer service and product knowledge is crucial as soul-less and demeaning high-pressure sales are not what we are about. An interest in music, books and pop-culture is an asset. As is a deep distaste for the late-stage capitalist hellscape we currently inhabit is a bonus, too.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide expert guidance on product selection based on individual needs and preferences
- Reliability and willingness to work anytime (evenings and weekends) is essential
- Educate customers on product effects, proper usage, and safety guidelines to promote responsible consumption
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure product availability aligns with store standards
- Assist with inventory control, including stock replenishment, filing, and stock rotation
- Upsell products effectively by understanding customer needs and highlighting new or popular items




- Support store operations through basic computer operation

Requirements

- Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality environments with strong communication skills in English
- Ability to perform light lifting safely when handling stock or merchandise
- Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering procedures, and computer skills including Microsoft Excel and basic math for transactions
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for filing, merchandising, and time management
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to guide customers confidently and work collaboratively within a team
- Multilingual capabilities to serve diverse clientele effectively
- Knowledge of cannabis products, industry regulations, and safety protocols is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6.0 – 12.0 per week
