Overview
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role is essential for the efficient movement and management of inventory within our distribution center. The ideal candidate will have experience of counter balance and willing to start asap. This position offers an opportunity to work in a rapid-paced environment with a focus on safety, accuracy, and productivity.

Duties

- Safely operate counter balance forklifts and willing to help as a material handler as well.
- Perform order picking accurately using warehouse management systems (WMS) to fulfill customer orders
- Assist with inventory management by organizing stock and ensuring proper storage procedures
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with forklifts and related equipment
- Support warehouse distribution activities by efficiently managing the movement of heavy loads and materials
- Adhere to safety protocols during all operations,



including heavy lifting and working around heavy machinery

Skills

- Proven experience operating forklifts, order pickers in a warehouse setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for accurate order picking and inventory control
- Ability to perform basic math calculations related to weight, measurements, and inventory counts
- Physical ability for heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking within the warehouse environment
- Knowledge of safety standards related to forklift operation and warehouse procedures
