Forklift Operator – Full Time (Monday – Friday)

Job Description

The forklift operator position at Ottawa Logistics encompasses the picking, prepping and staging of LTL orders, unloading of sea containers and truckloads, and general warehouse operations.

· Operate forklifts (counterbalance, narrow aisle reach, walkies, order pickers) to move, load, and unload product.

· Pick, stage, and organize inventory with accuracy and efficiency.

· Support inbound and outbound workflows.

· Complete daily equipment inspections and follow safety procedures.





· Work closely with warehouse leads and teammates to maintain a clean, efficient, and organized environment.

· Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed.

Requirements

- 1+ years' experience in operating forklifts.
- Willingness to be certified (covered by OL).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet.
- Flexibility in day-to-day tasks (priorities may change quickly).
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Competent with basic technology (computers and scanners)
