Small Engine Technician

Our Small Engine Technicians work on a wide range of equipment, including compact tractors, utility vehicles, and lawn & garden machinery. Key Responsibilities

· Diagnose, service, and repair 2- and 4-cycle power equipment, along with compact diesel equipment

· Troubleshoot and provide accurate repair estimates

· Document work performed and recommend additional service needs for customer records

· Track and record time, parts, and materials used

· Perform field service work using personal tools

· Conduct repairs involving welding and/or acetylene torch use

· Participate in factory training and service schools

· Maintain a clean, organized workspace and professional attitude

· Follow workplace safety procedures and regulations

Qualifications

· Experience repairing compact tractors, mowers, snow blowers, and lawn & garden equipment

· Solid understanding of 2- and 4-cycle engines, hydrostatic transmissions, drivelines, and 12V electrical systems





· Knowledge of hydraulic systems is an asset

· General computer literacy

· Ownership of a reliable set of tools

· Self-motivated with strong independent work skills

Work Schedule

· Full-time: 40+ hours per week

· Monday–Friday, with additional Saturday hours as needed

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour
