Dyne Holdings Limited is currently searching for a dependable individual to join our team as Security Officer, a full-time permanent position, 44 hours per week.

The Dyne security department is assigned to Dyne properties including; Confederation Court Mall , BDC Place, National Bank Tower & Homburg Financial Tower, all located in downtown Charlottetown, between Grafton and Fitzroy streets.

Interacting with the public on a regular basis, the ideal candidate demonstrates effective interpersonal skills with a calm demeanor, sound judgment and quick decision making. Successful Security Officers note close attention to detail in monitoring complex occurrences, detailing activities in reports, and strictly adhering to company policy and procedures.

General Duties

- Foot patrols of all Dyne properties
- Surveillance of video feeds
- Crowd control
- Contraband sweeps and collection
- First aid response/first response
- Investigations and evidence collection
- Maintain order in premises
- Enforce rules and regulations of premises
- Access control to properties
- Fire evacuation
- Building lockup procedures/opening procedures
- Removal of trespassers
- Performing other related duties as assigned

Requirements

- Criminal record check
- Secondary (high school)



graduation certificate
- Experience an asset

Work Conditions

- Walking, sitting, standing for extended periods
- Day shifts, evening shifts, overnight shifts
- Appear in court as witness as needed
