We are looking for an experienced Machinist to join our manufacturing team in Richmond, BC. This is a temporary full-time position with strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

You’ll be responsible for machining precision components used in food processing equipment, ensuring parts meet required specifications and quality standards.

What You’ll Do

- Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, grinders, and other shop equipment
- Machine parts according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Use micrometers and other precision measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Inspect finished parts and identify quality issues
- Select appropriate tools, materials, and machining methods
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized work area
- Work collaboratively with production and manufacturing teams

What We’re Looking For

- Previous machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience operating lathes, mills, grinders, or similar equipment




- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
