Smartwork Electrical is looking for a Business Development Representative to help us develop new client relationships and generate opportunities for commercial, residential, multi-family, and tenant improvement electrical projects.
This is a commission-based position ideal for someone with knowledge of the electrical/construction industry and an existing network of contractors, developers, builders, project managers, or other industry professionals.
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new electrical project opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, developers, builders, and clients
- Identify upcoming construction projects and connect Smartwork Electrical with decision-makers
- Introduce our company and services to potential clients
- Develop qualified leads and coordinate opportunities with our estimating team
- Represent Smartwork Electrical professionally at meetings and industry events
Who We're Looking For
- Knowledge of the electrical or construction industry
- Sales or business development experience preferred
- Robust communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
- Existing industry contacts and relationships are a strong asset
- Experience with electrical contracting, estimating, project coordination, or project management is an asset
- Former electricians looking to transition into business development are encouraged to apply
Compensation
Commission-Based | Competitive Commission Structure
Commission will be based on business generated and successful projects secured for Smartwork Electrical.
