Retail Sales Superstars Wanted - Part Time

Country Concessions is a well known destination Quilt Shop in Cookstown, ON. We focus on growing sales by exceeding customer expectations and helping customers have a top notch experience every time they visit. You need not be an experienced quilter but must have familiarity with sewing, textiles or fabric arts, and must have experience using a rotary cutter.

- Highly detail oriented, with confidence inputting data
- Someone who can provide patient, helpful and sincere customer service
- Friendly, bubbly, outgoing, enthusiastic, energetic and confident
- A passionate person who takes pride in your work and wants to create a WOW experience for every customer
- Able to understand fabric measurement and cutting, and willing to learn quilting skills to assist customers
- Someone who is reliable, organized, and has excellent communication skills
- Comfortable working with today’s technology is an asset - computer, data input, texting, Facebook, basic excel etc
- Capable of lifting up to 25lbs, standing on your feet for 8 hours, and don’t mind dusting or cleaning a toilet

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 days per week for part-time, one or two weekends per month
- Experience with a rotary cutter is essential
- Comfortable with computers
- Experience with textiles

Responsibilities:

- Assist customers in selecting products and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience.
- Accurately measure and cut fabrics for customers and store projects.
- Operate the POS system efficiently for transactions and cash handling.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and engage in merchandising activities.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, ensuring a positive store environment.
