Millwork Shop Helper / Driver

CN Architectural Millwork is looking for a reliable and motivated Shop Helper / Driver to join our team.

We are an established commercial millwork company specializing in custom architectural millwork and cabinetry. Our projects include custom cabinetry, kitchens, built-ins, furniture, bars, retail units, casework and architectural paneling.

About the Role

The Shop Helper / Driver will assist our team with a variety of day-to-day tasks in our millwork shop, office and on job sites.

Responsibilities may include:

- Picking up and delivering materials and finished millwork
- Loading and unloading materials and deliveries
- General shop labour and cleanup
- Organizing materials, tools and work areas
- Assisting cabinetmakers and millworkers with projects
- Helping with installations and job-site work as required
- Assisting with general maintenance and organization around the shop
- Supporting the team wherever needed to keep projects moving efficiently

You will work alongside experienced cabinetmakers and have the opportunity to learn the trade, develop hands-on skills and take on additional responsibilities as you gain experience.





Previous millwork or construction experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.

What We're Looking For

- Valid driver's licence required
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Able to follow instructions and work independently when required
- Robust organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a team
- Able to communicate effectively in English
- Able to safely lift and move 20–40 lbs
- Previous construction, woodworking or millwork experience is an asset
