Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications, ensuring freshness and quality at all times
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately using the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS if applicable
- Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while maintaining accuracy in math calculations
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food prep areas, adhering to food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Upsell additional menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality




- Follow all restaurant policies related to sanitation, food safety, and kitchen operations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests

Requirements

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order calculations
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety standards, and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar is advantageous
- Reliable time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities throughout shifts
