Our sister company KTL Transport operates 150 trucks to the Port of Vancouver with a fleet of 1000 container chassis.

Duties

- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal transportation regulations including CVSE, NSC and WorkSafe BC.
- Coordinate with ICBC and ensure insurance for all trucks and chassis are up to date as well as keeping track of insurance claims related to fleet incidents.
- Facilitate Class 1 Driver hiring including screening, reference checks, license verification.
- Train the new drivers on documenting such as Logbooks, Monthly and Quarterly Maintenance reports and company policies.
- Work with Management in disciplinary action, investigate incidents and safety violations.
- Maintain accurate driver qualification files, training records, licences, medical records, and compliance documentation. Manage paperwork/filing – Keeping track of all Truck & Trailer Maintenance, updating Licenses, Insurance, monthly maintenance, Quarterly Maintenance.
- Maintain inventory of regulated documents and safety equipment, including Bill of Lading, logbooks, PPE, and first aid kits.




- Promote a strong safety culture through regular safety meetings, driver coaching, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Main Contact point with BC Trucking Commissioner office.

Experience

- Previous experience dealing with NSC, OBCCTC and CVSE.
- College or post-secondary diploma is an assist.
- Valid Class 1 License (an asset but not required).
- Previous experience using TMS or fleet maintenance software.
- Minimum 2 years experience in drayage trucking industry or similar position is an assist.
- Strong customer service skills and detail oriented.
- Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written, Punjabi is an asset but not required.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workload to meet numerous deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and be a team player.
- Experience working in a unionized setting.

Pay: $23.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
