We are looking for an experienced PLC Programmer / Project Manager to join our growing team. This is a hands-on position for someone who can confidently troubleshoot electrical systems in the field while also taking responsibility for coordinating projects, crews, materials, and schedules.

What You'll Be Doing

- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults and control systems
- Connect to and troubleshoot PLCs and VFDs
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC systems
- Troubleshoot and commission VFDs and motor-control systems
- Attend job sites and provide hands-on technical support
- Develop and coordinate project schedules
- Formulate and coordinate electrical crews based on project requirements
- Order and coordinate materials and equipment
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, electricians, and other trades
- Review project requirements and help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule
- Provide technical support to field electricians and crews
- Assist with project planning, estimating, and troubleshooting as required

What We're Looking For

- Robust electrical troubleshooting experience
- Proven experience working with PLCs and VFDs
- Comfortable connecting to PLCs and VFDs using appropriate programming/diagnostic software




- Ability to diagnose electrical and control-system problems independently
- Experience coordinating electrical crews and projects
- Strong organizational and scheduling skills
- Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and control schematics
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working both in the field and in a project-management role
- Electrical industry experience is required
- Experience in commercial and industrial environments is an asset

Service Area

Our work ranges from North Vancouver to Chilliwack, with the majority of our projects located in: Surrey, Langley and Surrounding areas

This position will require regular travel to job sites and a willingness to remain hands-on with troubleshooting and commissioning.

Compensation

$45–$65 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
