Responsibilities

- Measure and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine siding specifications and installation procedures
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary caulking or weatherproofing materials
- Install various types of siding materials using hand tools, power tools, and other construction equipment
- Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and efficiently
- Use caulking techniques to seal joints and prevent water infiltration, ensuring weather-resistant finishes
- Read blueprints accurately to follow project plans and specifications precisely
- Maintain a clean work workplace by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly

Qualifications





- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques
- Prior construction or handyman experience preferred, especially in exterior or siding work
- Strong carpentry skills with the ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately
- Knowledge of blueprint reading to interpret project plans effectively
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks
- Familiarity with caulking methods for weatherproofing and sealing joints
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and practices
