We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our cutting-edge engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and developing mechanical systems and components. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency with CAD software, and experience with system design and automation technologies.
As the successful candidate, you will have experience in a wide variety of building related projects from concept to completion. Duties include:
- Perform mechanical system design (HVAC, Plumbing)
- Perform design calculation as required (heat loss, heat gain, flow calculation)
- Learn the design and drawing standards
- Ensure design complies to codes and regulations
- Work well independently or in a team environment
- Ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards
- Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of this role in our organization
- Construction admin such as:
- Attend meetings with clients, Architects, trades
- Write site instructions, Change Orders
- Review shop drawings
- Perform site reviews as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Mechanical HVAC & Piping System design.
- Proficient in use of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of ASHRAE Standards.
- Understand the Alberta Building Codes
- Technical competence and strong attention to detail.
- You are a self-starter, passionate about your work, enjoy being challenged
- Work well independently or in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team

Pay: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
