MAINTENANCE WORKER.

Maple Bay Marina is looking for a worker to join our maintenance crew. We are a diversified and dynamic multi-faceted business that is locally owned and operated on the waterfront in the spectacular Cowichan Valley. The position is open to qualified, residents of Cowichan Valley only.

Duties:

Perform various manual labour tasks as assigned

Assist with loading and unloading materials

Operate basic hand tools and equipment

Follow safety guidelines and procedures

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Work outdoors

Minor plumbing, electrical repairs, building touch ups, caulking/painting

Minor carpentry work

Assist with dock repairs

Snow removal

Power Washing

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a construction labour role preferred

Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Good communication skills and ability to work well with a team
