About the Role

Our septic designers help clients move from site evaluation and system planning through design, estimating, approvals and construction. The role involves residential and commercial private wastewater projects, with most site visits typically located within one hour of Orangeville.

Key Responsibilities

- Visit sites and evaluate property conditions, client needs and project constraints.
- Prepare septic-system designs, calculations, drawings and estimates.
- Coordinate permit applications and respond to questions from clients, reviewing authorities and other consultants.
- Present design options and project requirements clearly to clients.
- Coordinate suppliers,



treatment-system representatives and subcontractors when required.
- Support the transition from approved design to field construction and commissioning.
- Resolve design or site issues and help improve internal processes.

What We Look For

- At least three years of related septic, wastewater, civil or construction experience is preferred.
- College or university education in civil engineering, environmental technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of Ontario requirements for private sewage systems; applicable BCIN qualifications are a strong asset.
- Experience using Bluebeam Revu, CAD or similar design and drawing software.
- Ability to combine technical design with practical field and construction considerations.
- Strong written communication, organization and client-service skills.
- CET designation and project-management experience are assets.
- Valid Ontario G licence and reliable transportation.
