Crew Member – Deli-Style RestaurantSchedule & Availability

Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM | Weekdays Only

KEY: This position requires consistent availability during regular weekday daytime hours. This role will not work for applicants who attend school during the day or are otherwise unavailable between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Experience Requirement

PREVIOUS KITCHEN OR RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE IS MANDATORY.

Applicants must have previous hands-on experience working in a restaurant, deli, café, or commercial kitchen environment. Please do not apply if you do not have relevant food-service experience.

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Crew Member to join our deli-style restaurant team. This is a hands-on role that combines strong food preparation skills with a high standard of customer service.

Duties

- Prepare fresh ingredients daily, including cutting vegetables, assembling toppings, and executing recipes to standard
- Demonstrate strong knife skills while following proper food safety and handling practices
- Learn and maintain thorough knowledge of the menu to confidently guide guests, answer questions, and enhance their overall experience
- Deliver friendly, attentive, and genuine customer service at all times
- Build strong relationships with guests through positive interactions and consistent service quality
- Accurately handle cash and POS transactions while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail
- Set up, stock,



and maintain the service line to ensure smooth daily operations
- Support back-of-house operations as needed, including dishwashing, cleaning, and basic prep
- Maintain cleanliness and organization across both kitchen and front-of-house areas
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth, efficient service, especially during busy periods
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation standards

Experience

- Previous restaurant, deli, café, or commercial kitchen experience is required
- Strong knife skills and confidence in food preparation
- Solid understanding of basic cooking techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to multitask and stay efficient in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a high level of customer service
- Experience handling cash and using POS systems is an asset
- Team-oriented, dependable, and proactive, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction and willingness to support the team wherever needed
