We are currently seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our growing team as a Technician - Senior for the Fulfillment Group at our Kelowna location.

HME is a fast-growing company, with over 140 full-time staff in offices located in Richmond, South Surrey, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kelowna, North Vancouver, Sechelt, Kamloops, and Abbotsford.

Hours for this role are , Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. HME offers a competitive wage along with a full benefits package inclusive of extended medical benefits. No remote work option is available.

What you will do for HME:

- Responsible for the MEPP/CMEDS program, including leading portal requests and coordinating pickups.
- Work with CMEDS staff to coordinate the preparation and setup of equipment.
- Assist in scheduling orders and pulling, gathering and staging equipment to fulfill orders as required.
- Set up equipment according to the specifications of the order. Equipment includes wheelchairs, hospital beds, lifts, and pediatric equipment such as strollers and standers.
- Clean and inspect equipment to ensure that HME’s standards for cleanliness, safety and quality are met.
- Responsible for equipment repairs, general maintenance, technical troubleshooting and preparing repair quotations.
- Coordinate the delivery, installation and return of equipment,



ensuring that all returned equipment is accurately documented and any damage or missing parts are noted. Delivery and pick-ups are in the Interior region.
- Communicate with clients and therapists, respond to their enquiries and provide other information as requested.
- Work with healthcare professionals, including nursing staff, occupational therapists and physiotherapists, to coordinate the delivery and installation of medical equipment.
- Provide information on the appropriate medical equipment and services for client needs.
- Work with contract accounts and non-profit organizations to coordinate the delivery of equipment for their clients.
- Use the custom CRM system to prepare quotations and execute work orders, ensuring that clients receive the highest level of service in a timely manner.
- Prepare and organize all paperwork for deliveries, sales and support services.
- Handle and coordinate incoming client calls, emails and faxes.
- Perform various administrative functions and assist with office and warehouse organization and cleanliness.
- Assist with shipping and receiving duties as required.
- Moderate lifting of inventory and equipment up to 50 lbs. is required.

- Comfortable with computers – Microsoft Office Suite

positive attitude and possess the ability to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.
