Finish Skid Steer Operator

We are seeking an experienced Finish Skid Steer Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will perform precise final grading and site-finishing work while maintaining a safe, efficient, and professional jobsite.

Only operators with proven Skid Steer experience will be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

- Perform final grading for base prep, paving, concrete, and site preparation
- Operate skid steers and attachments safely and efficiently
- Work accurately around buildings, utilities, curbs, and other obstacles
- Read grades using lasers, stakes, and site plans
- Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Coordinate with supervisors, labourers, truck drivers, and other operators
- Follow all company and site safety requirements
- Assist with general site duties when required

Qualifications

- Proven finish-grade experience on a skid steer within a 1 cm tolerance
- Strong understanding of elevations, drainage, slopes, and compaction
- Ability to produce smooth, accurate grades with minimal rework
- Experience with multiple attachments and machine-control systems is an asset
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation




- GPS experience will be considered an asset
- Relevant safety certifications are preferred
- Physically able to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
