About Drywall Plus

Drywall Plus is an Ottawa-based contractor specializing in commercial and multi-residential drywall, steel-stud framing, taping and finishing, and acoustic ceilings throughout Ottawa and the National Capital Region.

With several major projects underway and continued growth ahead, we are looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our team.

The Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing construction drawings and specifications, completing accurate quantity takeoffs, preparing competitive estimates, obtaining supplier and subcontractor pricing, identifying scope requirements and exclusions, and assisting with tender submissions.

What We're Looking For

- Experience estimating drywall and steel-stud framing
- Strong ability to read architectural drawings, specifications and addenda
- Experience completing material and labour takeoffs
- Understanding of commercial and multi-residential construction
- Knowledge of drywall assemblies, steel studs, ceilings, taping and finishing




- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable communicating with general contractors, suppliers and project teams
- Familiarity with construction estimating/takeoff software is an asset

Additional Experience Is a Major Bonus

Candidates with estimating experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply:

Masonry Siding/Cladding Roofing

Experience across multiple construction divisions would be a significant asset as we continue to grow.
