Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, cookware, and kitchen utensils, ensuring a smooth and hygienic operation in a fast-paced restaurant or hospitality environment. This role is vital in supporting food service operations and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

- Cleaning and sanitizing all dishware, glassware, cutlery, and plates used in the front-of-house, as well as pots, pans, and cooking utensils from the kitchen
- Restocking clean dishes and utensils in the designated front-of-house areas and proactively collecting used items from the deli for cleaning
- Performing general cleaning and sanitation duties, including sweeping and mopping kitchen and warehouse floors, and cleaning sinks, counters, and other surfaces as needed
- Maintaining the cleanliness and stocking of washrooms with necessary sanitary supplies
- Assisting with receiving deliveries, unpacking pallets, and performing general warehouse duties
- Breaking down cardboard boxes and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, free of garbage and clutter
- Disposing of garbage, recycling, and organic waste in accordance with company procedures
- Wiping own kitchen appliances, including ovens, stoves, and other equipment, to ensure proper hygiene and maintenance




- Cleaning walls and surrounding areas near sinks and throughout the kitchen
- Regularly inspect and clean under and behind tables and equipment in the kitchen, dish area, and warehouse
- Maintaining tidy and clean countertops in the warehouse and kitchen areas
- Performing additional duties as assigned by management

Requirements

- Able to handle very high volume pots/pans, bakery pans, and dishes from our dining room.
- Able to lift heavy objects
- Reliable, dependable, hard worker
- Robust teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items such as pots and pans when necessary.
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
