Job Summary

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, professional service throughout their shopping experience
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process cash, credit/debit card transactions, and mobile payments accurately
- Handle cash drawer management with precision, including cash handling and balancing at shift end
- Assist customers with product inquiries, offering product demos when needed to enhance their understanding and satisfaction
- Upsell relevant products or services to maximize sales opportunities while respecting customer preferences
- Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and welcoming




- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels, customer requests, and store procedures

Requirements

- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering preferred; technical sales experience a plus
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer bases
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and phone etiquette
- Ability to manage time efficiently in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of POS systems, merchandising practices, and retail operations preferred
- Demonstrated organizational skills to keep checkout areas tidy and stocked as needed
