About the Role

The Operations Coordinator is the communication hub of our business, coordinating sales, production, packaging, inventory, and delivery to ensure customers receive high-quality products accurately and on time.

You’ll work closely with our production and packaging teams to coordinate schedules, manage inventory, identify and resolve issues before they impact customers, and drive continuous improvement across the operation.

This is a hands-on role. In addition to managing and coordinating day-to-day operations, you’ll be expected to pick orders and assist with packaging and/or production as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable moving between planning and execution, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer order communication, responding promptly and keeping customers informed of any delays or changes
- Review and prioritize incoming orders daily, coordinating with production and packaging to ensure on-time fulfillment
- Monitor inventory levels, maintain accurate records, and work with production leaders to plan around customer demand
- Help develop daily and weekly production and packaging plans, balancing staffing, inventory, and deadlines
- Oversee order fulfillment from packaging through delivery, resolving logistical issues as they arise




- Pick and accurately assemble orders daily with help of delivery driver
- Directly supervise the Delivery Driver — scheduling routes, providing feedback, and ensuring accurate documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements that reduce waste and increase efficiency
- Maintain and update Standard Operating Procedures and operational records
- Act as the central link between Production, Packaging, Inventory, and Delivery
- Assist other departments including packaging and production duties as necessary
- Perform deliveries in the absence of the delivery driver or alternate drivers

Qualifications

- Track record of strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Adobe and Outlook
- Comfortable prioritizing multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment
- Experience with inventory management, logistics, or scheduling
- Leadership experience or a track record of coordinating across teams
- Proficiency with inventory and order management systems
- Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset
- Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s licence with a clean driving record
- Comfortable lifting up to 25 kg (55 lbs) regularly
- Professional, courteous, and customer-focused
- Available Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, with overtime as required
- Culinary experience an asset

Reporting Structure

Reports to the General Manager / Owners. Directly supervises the Delivery Driver, and works closely with Production and Packaging Team Leaders.
