About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Sheet Metal Auto Brake Bender Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating an automatic sheet metal brake, setting up jobs, bending sheet metal accurately to specifications, and maintaining a high standard of quality and production.

Responsibilities

- Operate an automatic sheet metal brake/bending machine safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Set up machines and select appropriate tooling for different jobs.
- Measure and verify dimensions and bend angles using precision measuring tools.
- Produce quality parts according to specifications and tolerances.
- Inspect finished work and make machine adjustments as required.
- Load and handle sheet metal safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.




- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards.
- Work efficiently to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

- Previous experience operating an auto brake, CNC brake, or sheet metal bending equipment.
- Experience working with sheet metal is required.
- Ability to read shop drawings and measurements.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically able to lift and handle sheet metal safely.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Forklift experience is an asset.

Pay: $23.00-$49.00 per hour
