Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide high-quality care and assistance to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and home care environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being and independence of clients, especially those with disabilities, dementia, or requiring hospice care. Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide medication administration and monitor health conditions as required
- Prepare meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Support patients with dementia or cognitive impairments through engaging activities and companionship
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Help with mobility and transfer assistance, including heavy lifting when needed
- Support patients with hospice or end-of-life care by offering comfort and emotional support




- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with healthcare teams or family members
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Provide a G1 Drivers License and Proof of Ownership and Insurance to be able to run errands and provide grocery shopping

Experience

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings is preferred
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is highly valued
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic nursing skills is advantageous
- Experience in caregiving roles involving senior care or hospice care is a plus
- Ability to perform some lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks required for patient support
- Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and empathy are essential for success in this role
