Grove Mechanical is growing, and we're looking for outgoing, motivated people to join our Costco lead generation team.

We currently operate HVAC programs inside three Costco warehouses — both Burnaby locations and Downtown Vancouver — and we're building a team to represent Grove Mechanical at these locations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to develop real-world sales and communication skills, earn additional performance bonuses, and potentially grow into a full-time position with our company.

You do not need to be an HVAC expert.

You do need to be comfortable talking to people.

Learn Sales Directly From the Owner

One of the biggest opportunities with this position is the coaching you'll receive.

You'll work with and be personally coached by the owner of Grove Mechanical, who has:

- 17+ years of HVAC industry experience
- Over $40 million in residential HVAC sales
- Extensive experience communicating with homeowners and generating residential business
- A proven process you'll be trained to follow

We're not going to put you in a Costco warehouse and tell you to figure it out.

We'll teach you the process.

You'll learn how to approach people naturally, start conversations, build rapport, identify interest, handle rejection, and generate qualified opportunities for our HVAC sales team.

Those are skills you can carry throughout your career.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

You'll represent Grove Mechanical at our Costco HVAC booth and interact with Costco members as they shop and leave the warehouse.

Your goal is simple:





Start conversations and find homeowners who may be interested in receiving a quote for a new heating or cooling system.

You'll be expected to:

- Smile, make eye contact, and engage Costco members
- Start friendly, professional conversations
- Explain the opportunity to receive an HVAC quote
- Generate qualified leads for our sales team
- Accurately collect customer information
- Professionally represent Grove Mechanical and the Costco program
- Follow the sales and lead-generation process you're taught
- Be coachable and continually improve

This Position Is NOT for Someone Who Wants to Sit Behind a Booth.

We want to be upfront about that.

If your idea of working the booth is sitting down, looking at your phone, and waiting for someone to approach you, this isn't the position for you.

The people who succeed will be the ones who enjoy interacting with others.

You need to be willing to stand up, smile, say hello, make contact, and spark conversations.

You don't need to be pushy.

In fact, we don't want you to be.

We want friendly, confident and genuine people who aren't afraid to start a conversation.

Performance Bonuses

In addition to your hourly compensation, there is an opportunity to earn spiffs when your leads turn into completed sales.

You'll receive:

$25 for every piece of HVAC equipment sold from your leads.

A typical residential HVAC project can include 1–4 pieces of equipment, meaning a converted lead can generate a $25–$100 spiff, depending on the system sold.





Generate more quality opportunities, and you create more opportunity to earn.

We're initially hiring for part-time positions to build out our Costco team.

But we're growing.

For someone who consistently performs, generates quality opportunities, learns the process, and demonstrates that they want more responsibility, there is potential for this to develop into a full-time opportunity with Grove Mechanical.

We're interested in finding people we can invest in and develop.

You may come in without much sales experience.

We're looking for the person who's hungry to learn what to do with the opportunity once they're here.
