The Role

This is a fast-paced dispatch position where no two days are the same. You will coordinate drivers, customers, equipment and third parties to keep jobs moving safely and efficiently.

You can expect to handle 50+ calls per day, make decisions quickly, solve problems on the fly and stay in constant communication with drivers, customers and operations.

Responsibilities

- Schedule and dispatch drivers based on customer requirements
- Coordinate heavy haul and oilfield moves
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of rig moves
- Maintain communication with drivers, customers and third parties
- Monitor jobs and provide customers with regular updates
- Arrange repairs and troubleshoot issues affecting schedules
- Prepare daily work orders
- Organize bills of lading for invoicing
- Review and approve timesheets
- Assist and oversee office staff and drivers
- Work closely with HR,



Safety and Transportation to maintain compliance
- Maintain robust customer relationships
- Coordinate BC, Alberta and Saskatchewan permitting requirements

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of oilfield trucking dispatch experience
- Strong knowledge of the oilfield trucking industry
- Rig move experience is a major asset
- Experience working on or coordinating rig moves is highly preferred
- Knowledge of BC/AB/SK permitting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and dependable
- Axon experience is an asset
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
