Math Instructor/Tutor/Teacher for Grade 1-8 and Grade 9-12

Mathnasium of Kerrisdale, a math-only learning centre, is now hiring part-time math instructors

We are looking to fill our team with those who possess a passion for math and who want to share their enthusiasm by inspiring others.

Job Summary

The instructing students from Grade 1-8 or Grade 9-12

- Ability to teach Math
- Excellent communication and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to professionally interact with students and parents
- The High School instructors should have math skills through Algebra, Geometry and Pre-Calculus
- Energetic and confident and a team player

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous teaching experience or other experience working with students is an asset, but we will train the right candidate
- Pass the “Mathnasium Math Literacy Test”
- The High School Instructors should be able to teach students in upper level high school math courses

Working Hours

We offer flexible working hours: Monday - Thursday 3:30-7:30 pm and Sunday 12:00-5:00 pm. Expect minimum 8 to 16 hours per week.
