Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot a wide range of automotive problems using schematics, diagnostic tools, and mechanical knowledge
- Perform repairs including engine work, brake service, suspension, transmission, and electrical systems
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid replacements, and inspections
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs accurately and efficiently
- Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting, welding,



and the use of power tools to maintain a safe working environment
- Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to identify issues and implement solutions
- Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed and communicate findings clearly to customers

Skills

- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong mechanical background
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics for diagnostics and repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of vehicle maintenance tasks
- Solid knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical components, and suspension
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly processes for comprehensive repairs
- Strong maintenance skills coupled with mechanic experience to ensure vehicles are restored to optimal condition

Pay: $17.97-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 per week
