Overview

This position will consist of 3 shifts from 3:00PM -11:00PM and 2 shifts of 11:00PM -7:00AM. Tuesday-Saturday

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Houseperson to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public areas, breakfast area, guest rooms and outside premisis to ensure a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a agile hospitality setting, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and the reputation of our hotel. Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals committed to high standards of cleanliness and service.

Responsibilities

- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Laundry as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, pool, elevators, lobby, guest laundry, restrooms and other areas as needed.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and according to hotel standards
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Garbage removal and shoveling/salting walkways and enterences.
- Assisting with in-house guest requests




- Packing away shipments as they arrive
- Dealing with maintenance issues if necessary
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications

- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial work, or industrial cleaning is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods and lift light loads
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper usage is desirable but not mandatory
- Hospitality experience is advantageous for understanding guest service expectations

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
