Part-Time Community & Employment Support

15 hours/week | St. Albert | $20.24/hour + mileage

We’re looking for a reliable, capable, and personable individual to support an adult man with a developmental disability in building greater independence at work and in the community.

This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, connects easily with people, and enjoys helping others build confidence, skills, and meaningful relationships.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Supporting success in employment and workplace relationships
- Helping build independence with transportation, scheduling, budgeting, planning, and decision-making
- Encouraging involvement in recreation, volunteering, sports, and social activities
- Supporting social confidence and community connections
- Assisting with job search or interview preparation when needed
- Communicating with family and other members of the support team

We’re Looking For Someone Who

- Is patient, dependable, outgoing and comfortable taking initiative




- Has good judgment and can work independently
- Is organized and follows through
- Is comfortable introducing someone to new people, activities, and opportunities
- Communicates well and works collaboratively

Schedule & Requirements

15 hours per week. Mainly daytime Tuesdays & Thursdays with evenings Mon. & Weds & occasionally on weekends.

Applicants must have:

- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
- Vulnerable Sector Police Information Check

Compensation

$20.24/hour, plus mileage and approved activity expenses.
