Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Full time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at D&M; pharmacy and travel clinic North .The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in various tasks, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. This position requires at least 1 year experience in pharmacy setting.

Requirements:

Full Time PHARMACY ASSISTANT

POSITION AVAILABLE AT D&M; PHARMACY AND TRAVEL CLINIC NW

Certification from recognized program, Excellent communication and customer service skills, Knowledge of Kroll is an asset, Preferred previous pharmacy experience.

Duties including but not limited to:

- Helps health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, and referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

- Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock and determine inventory level, placing and expediting orders and removing outdated drugs.





- Maintains a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

- Prepare, compound, and dispense medications and pharmaceutical products according to the prescription's information

- Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)

- Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Experience:

- Pharmacy: 1 year (preferred)
