Lynwood Charlton Centre is looking for numerous energetic, caring and passionate Residential Child and Youth Care Practitioners – Relief, who can jump in and be a part of the energetic team who supports our Intensive out of home Programs.

Working under the direction of the Flamborough Program Manager the Live In Treatment Child and Youth Care Practitioner is responsible for the provision of day-to-day care and utilizing best practice and following evidence informed treatment plans with children/youth in a live in treatment environment. The Live In Treatment Child and Youth Care Practitioner will develop effective relationships with the Child/youth, caregivers/guardians and service providers in the community.

Experience/Skills Required

· Diploma in CYC, Social Service Worker, Developmental Service Worker or Equivalent completed or in progress with commitment for completion, and/or educational equivalent from recognized community college or a BA in a related field

· Experience working with children and youth in a treatment and/or residential setting

· Knowledge of Child and Youth Mental health
