Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Indian dishes with precision and flair, ensuring authentic flavors and presentation.
- Oversee food handling procedures, maintaining strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control, ingredient sourcing, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation techniques and ensuring teamwork within the culinary team.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes based on customer feedback.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining quality standards during busy service hours.




- Uphold hospitality standards by assisting with food service when necessary, including bartending or serving duties.

Requirements

- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or food industry setting, particularly with Indian cuisine.
- Supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment, demonstrating leadership and team management skills.
- Solid knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and sanitation practices aligned with industry standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous restaurant management or hospitality experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- A passion for Indian culinary traditions combined with a proactive attitude towards learning and innovation.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
