Clinical Staffing Supports Inc. is an ABA (Applied Behaviour Analysis) staffing agency based in Toronto, providing support for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

Clinical Staffing Supports Inc. (CSS) is currently recruiting for a part-time Behavioural Support Worker (BSW) role in the Hamilton and Dundas area. The BSW will be responsible for providing ongoing implementation of evidence-based treatments in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) to children and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in home and community settings. Note that this is an independent contractor position.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

· Providing direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children and adults with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities

· Completing direct observations, documentation and data collection for behaviour(s)

· Implementing behaviour support plans & programming on an ongoing basis

· Supporting residents with behaviour management, personal hygiene, preparing meals, community outings, attending medical appointments, and other activities of daily living

· Collaborating with all stakeholders in a client’s circle of care, as needed, to provide a holistic, biopsychosocial, and person-centered approach in service delivery





Qualifications

· A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Diploma in Behavioural Science, Autism & Behavioural Sciences, Child & Youth Work, Developmental Services, Psychology, Social Work, or an equivalent field.

· RBT (Registered Behaviour Technician) certification considered an asset.

· Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) considered an asset.

· A minimum of one-year experience working with individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in a home, community, or clinical setting.

· Able to work well independently as well as a part of a team.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Basic proficiency in the operation of a computer and MS Office.

Requirements

· Recent Police Record Check / Vulnerable Sector Screening (within the last 6 months)

· Medical Check

· Certification in Safe Management (SMG) or willing to get one

· Valid First-Aid & CPR certificate or willing to get one

· A valid Ontario G Driver’s License

· Driver's abstract

· Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends
