Blue Planet Properties is looking for a Territory Sales Representative to grow Instant Books, our AI-powered bookkeeping product for small business owners. This is a role for someone who enjoys talking with small business owners and wants to build a market from the ground up.

You'll own a state or province as your territory. How you work it is up to you: phone, email, video demos, in-person visits, referrals, or any mix that gets results. We care about the outcome, not the channel.

Start conversations. Book demos. Sell subscriptions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll build relationships with small businesses: restaurants, property management companies, martial arts schools, and other owner-operated businesses. You'll learn how they currently handle bookkeeping and introduce Instant Books when there's a fit.

Some reps do their best work on the phone. Others would rather walk in and shake a hand. Plenty do both: cold calling to build pipeline, in-person visits to close the ones worth the drive. All of it works here.

This is an outbound role. You should be comfortable finding and approaching your own prospects rather than waiting for leads.

YOUR TERRITORY

You'll be responsible for a state or province, but nobody expects you to drive across it. Most of it is reachable by phone and online demo. If you're near a city with an active small-business community, in-person selling is available to you: an option, not a requirement.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You genuinely enjoy talking with small business owners, and you're comfortable starting a conversation cold, by phone or through a door.





You're independent, persistent, organized, and able to manage your own territory without someone checking in on you.

Experience in outside sales, B2B field sales, SaaS, POS systems, payment processing, payroll, accounting software, telecom, or other services sold to small businesses is especially valuable.

No degree required. We care whether you can start conversations, build trust, follow up, and close.

COMPENSATION

$37,500 base salary plus commission on first-year subscription value. On-target earnings $72,500.

Commission is roughly $230 per closed account, with a target of 12 to 13 current customers per month. Hit target and you earn $72,500. Beat it and there is no cap, with accelerators above quota.
