Job Summary: We are seeking a fully licensed Millwright to join our manufacturing military defense client’s team located in Ingersoll, ON. You will perform mechanical maintenance on machinery and install, dismantle, and move machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, or other drawings in a manufacturing environment.

Job Type: Full-time, permanent.

Job Location: Ingersoll, ON

Shift Structure: Monday to Friday- 3-shift rotation switching across all three shifts every two weeks, based on the following schedule:

- Days 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Afternoons 3:30pm to 11:30pm
- Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am

Responsibilities:

- Identify and diagnose mechanical problems and provide quick, cutting-edge solutions for mechanical equipment breakdowns
- Apply proven skills in the principles of mechanics, fitting, plumbing, basic welding, metalwork, machining, troubleshooting, and analytical problem solving.
- Dismantle, assemble/install, and move machinery efficiently with precision
- Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve and troubleshoot various types of equipment in a manufacturing setting
- Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
- Conduct PM programs according to standards
- Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Recommend solutions to routine and unique equipment problems
- Responsible for equipment changeover, setup, takedown, and relocation of
- Response to equipment problems in a timely & customer-oriented manner




- Sound knowledge of all safety standards, policies and procedures
- All other work as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor / or other authorized management persons

Skills/Qualifications:

- 433A licensed Industrial Millwright Mechanic (Red Seal); Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - Mandatory
- 3 years of mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
- Experience with CNC Machines, Lathes, Gearboxes, heat treatment equipment, and Robotics
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Outlook
- Proficient at operating lift trucks and hoists and using power tools during the installation, setup, and repair of machinery
- Able to follow instructions and work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
- Work at heights without fear

Controlled Goods Requirement:

- Must be either a Permanent Resident or Canadian Citizen
- Must have worked in Canada the last 5+ years
- Must have not left Canada for more than 6 months in the last 5 years
- Must be willing to pass a clean criminal background
- Must have at least 1 work reference and 2 personal references
