Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer/Shingler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. Duties

- Measure and cut roofing materials using hand tools and power tools to fit specific project requirements
- Install shingles, metal panels, tiles, or other roofing materials according to blueprints and safety standards
- Inspect existing roofs for damage or deterioration and perform necessary repairs or replacements
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure precise installation
- Use caulking and sealing techniques to waterproof joints and prevent leaks
- Handle heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, plywood sheets,



or metal panels safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean work setting by organizing tools and debris throughout the project lifecycle

Skills

- Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and measuring tapes
- Construction experience with a focus on roofing or related trades like carpentry or handyman work
- Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
- Knowledge of caulking techniques for waterproofing applications
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety protocols
- Previous experience with blueprint reading and construction site coordination is a plus
