Duties

- Supervise daily farm operations, including planting, harvesting, irrigation, and livestock care
- Oversee maintenance and repair of farm machinery, power tools, irrigation systems, and hand tools
- Coordinate the use of heavy equipment and ensure protected operation by team members
- Monitor crop health and implement horticultural best practices to maximize yields
- Train and support farm staff in equipment operation, safety procedures, and proper tool usage
- Conduct regular inspections of farm facilities, equipment, and safety protocols
- Manage inventory of supplies, parts for maintenance, and farming materials to ensure smooth workflow

Experience





- Proven experience in farm management or agricultural supervision with a strong understanding of horticulture practices
- Mechanical knowledge related to farm machinery, heavy equipment operation, and maintenance procedures
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and water management techniques
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and scheduling tasks
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and routine repairs on farm equipment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff effectively while maintaining safety standards
- Must have a current Pesticide spray license required
- quality control experience

Pay: $23.00 per hour
