Job Description: On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer operating within a highly automated industrial environment, we are seeking experienced Electricians to join their maintenance team to fill 3 new openings. This role is responsible for ensuring reliability, performance, and continuous improvement of electrical, automation, and control systems that support critical manufacturing operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining production uptime, troubleshooting complex automation issues, supporting equipment upgrades, and driving preventative maintenance initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Job Type: Full-time, direct-hire opportunity.

Shift Structure: Hours operate Monday to Friday on a 2-week rotating shift pattern across all three shifts, which includes:

- Days 7:30am to 3:30pm
- Afternoons 3:30pm to 11:30pm
- Nights 11:30pm to 7:30am

Key Responsibilities:

· Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and commission industrial electrical and automation equipment.

· Diagnose and resolve electrical, PLC, robotics, and control system issues to minimize downtime.

· Perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

· Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and equipment reliability.

· Develop, execute, and update preventative maintenance programs and procedures.

· Troubleshoot and maintain PLCs, HMIs, robotics,



motion control systems, VFDs, and industrial automation equipment.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records, technical documentation, and work order updates.

· Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to identify and implement process improvements.

· Provide technical support, training, and knowledge sharing to fellow maintenance team members.

· Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and automation projects as required.

· Ensure all work is completed in compliance with applicable safety regulations and electrical codes

Requirements/Qualifications:

· Must hold a valid 309A Electrician or 442A Industrial Electrician Red-Seal Certificate.

· Must have completion of a recognized apprenticeship program.

· Minimum 3-5 years of industrial electrical experience within a manufacturing environment.

· Experience troubleshooting automated production equipment and industrial control systems.

· Strong experience working with PLCs, robotics, CNC equipment, and automation technologies.

· Experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC platforms is considered an asset.

· Experience with Yaskawa robotics is considered an asset.





· Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is an asset.

· Previous experience within highly automated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Desired Skills/Preferred Experience:

· Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation.

· Advanced PLC troubleshooting and programming capabilities.

· Experience with HMI programming and troubleshooting.

· Knowledge of robotics, machine safety systems, safety PLCs, and safeguarding practices.

· Experience with motion control systems and variable frequency drives (VFDs).

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and documentation.

· Strong troubleshooting abilities across electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

· Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and communication skills.

· Proficiency with maintenance software and computer-based troubleshooting tools.

· Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
