We are an industry leader in the design and installation of water wells and pump systems

This is a full time position, with varied hours, some evening and weekend work (rare), as well as some out of town travel. We are looking for a hardworking person who is local to the Mid island area. This position is for an immediate start.

The following is brief descriptions of the duties and responsibilities that will be expected of the successful candidate:

- Drive a single axle commercial truck

- Operate a 5000lbs hydraulic crane

- Operate a 5000lbs forklift

- Organization of the tools and jobsite to help the driller run the rig efficiently.
- Maintain valuable housekeeping on the jobsite at all times
- Maintain, service and clean the rig and other equipment
- Handle steel casing, drilling rods, hammers, bits, etc.
- Maintain and clean all tools
- Communicate with the driller on supply stock and rig/truck maintenance
- Fueling of equipment (diesel and gas)
- Repair/Service or tag defective equipment (trash pumps, compressors, grouters, etc).
- Assisting with all paperwork required on each jobsite




- Assisting with the maintenance of the rig and support equipment as well as company vehicles
- Heavy lifting
- 8-12 + hour days
- Mechanical knowledge/skills are big assets
- Team attitude is key

- Welding experience is an asset
- Class 1 or 3 CDL are assets
- Class 5 license with air brakes endorsement is required

This is an entry level position into what is a 5 year Drilling Apprentice program.
