MPI Morheat Inc. is currently seeking full-time Assembler to join our busy and growing manufacturing facility. We will train the right individual but experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Measure and mark dimensions and reference lines on metal sheets
- Cut, bend and fasten pieces of sheet metal
- Drill hole in metal for screws, bolts, and rivets
- Fasten seams or joints by welding, bolting, riveting or soldering
- Assemble all parts to get the final product
- Flexible to assist with other duties which may arise
- Clean work area as required

Requirements:

- Prior assembly experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Sheet metal experience/knowledge but not essential
- Must have good mathematical skills; ability to add, subtract multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Read and interpret assembly drawings
- Follow set instructions, job orders, recording information




- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Attention to detail and quality.
- Hard working and punctual
- Able to read, write and speak English
- Should possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Education:

- Technical Certificate; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
