The AMAA Circuit Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful annual execution of AMAA’s winter and summer circuits. This role oversees event operations and works closely with facilities, staff, unit directors, volunteers, judges, and other stakeholders. The Circuit Manager reports to the AMAA Board of Directors to ensure the continued execution and development of the AMAA circuit.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of AMAA’s winter and summer circuits.
- Coordinate facility and venue requirements.
- Liaise & Communicate with Show Hosts ahead and during the season.
- Manage event staffing and on-site operations.
- Collaborate with volunteer coordinators at events.
- Coordinate with the judging committee and judges.
- Manage event schedules, logistics, and timelines.
- Work with vendors, partners,
and other event stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues during events.
- Conduct post-event reviews and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in marching arts event management.
- Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and traveling as required.
- Hands-on, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
- The compensation package will be determined with the successful candidate.
Pay: $8,000.00-$10,000.00 per year
