Jarlette Health Services is growing, and so is our Human Resources team. We are excited to welcome two Human Resources Business Partners, including one newly created position.

As an HRBP, you will be a trusted advisor to managers and leaders across our homes and lodges, providing practical HR guidance, building strong relationships, and supporting our people and organization.

The following traits and qualifications are required:

- Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, or a Post Graduate Certificate in Human Resources with coursework covering the nine HRPA required subject areas for the CHRP designation.

- CHRP designation or working towards the designation.





- A minimum of 2 years of related experience in Human Resources is an asset.

- Previous experience in a unionized environment is an asset.

- Previous experience in Long Term Care or another healthcare setting is an asset.

- Knowledge of Human Resources practices and applicable provincial and federal legislation.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills.

- Strong organizational, time management, research, writing, data analysis, and presentation skills.

- Ability to provide sound, practical Human Resources advice and handle confidential information with discretion.

- Proficient with computer applications and able to learn new technology; working knowledge of Google Suite is an asset.

- Commitment to ongoing professional development.

- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.

What you will be doing:

- Build strong relationships with managers and employees, providing practical HR advice and guidance.

- Support managers with employee and labour relations matters, including collective agreement interpretation and application.

- Provide guidance across recruitment, retention, attendance, performance, engagement, recognition, and return to work.





- Prepare HR reports and workforce insights, and research legislation and best practices to support informed decision making.

- Contribute to HR programs, initiatives, and projects.
