Job Overview

Matrix HR is looking for experienced Journeyperson Sheet Metal Workers to join a major project IN Calgary, AB. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a large-scale commercial project and work alongside an experienced team of construction professionals.

The project offers steady full-time hours, potential overtime, and the possibility of work extending beyond the initial two-month term.

Start Date: Immediately

Responsibilities

- Install and assemble commercial sheet-metal and HVAC systems.
- Measure, cut, shape, and fit sheet-metal components.
- Install ductwork, fittings, supports, and related equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Coordinate work with supervisors and other trades.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.




- Follow all site procedures and project requirements.

Requirements

- Valid Journeyperson Sheet Metal Worker certification.
- Commercial or industrial sheet-metal experience.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Valid Lift Training, Fall Arrest, CSTS, and WHMIS certificates.
- Appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week and overtime when required.
- Reliable transportation and a robust commitment to attendance and safety.

Pay: Up to $44.80 per hour
