We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shop Foreman to join our busy Toyota dealership.

We are seeking a licensed automotive technician and strong team leader who can provide technical direction to our service department while maintaining a high standard of workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

The Role

As Shop Foreman, you will be a key resource for our technicians and Service Department. You will assist with difficult diagnostics, oversee workflow, support technician development, and ensure repairs are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day technical leadership and support to the service technicians.
- Assist technicians with difficult or intermittent diagnostic concerns.
- Help organize and prioritize shop workflow to maximize efficiency.
- Review and monitor repair quality and ensure work is completed to manufacturer specifications.
- Mentor apprentices and technicians and assist with ongoing technical development.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and Management to resolve complex repair concerns.
- Assist with warranty, recall, and manufacturer-related procedures.
- Utilize Toyota technical information, wiring diagrams, diagnostic equipment, and service procedures.
- Maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, organization, and professionalism throughout the shop.
- Stay current with Toyota technology, diagnostic procedures, technical service information,



and new vehicle systems.
- Lead by example and foster a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

- Licensed 310S Automotive Service Technician in Ontario.
- Several years of dealership or automotive repair experience.
- Previous Shop Foreman, Lead Technician, or senior technician experience is an asset.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
- Toyota experience and/or Toyota training is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Toyota Techstream and OEM diagnostic information is an asset.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced dealership environment.
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

Pay: $80,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
