Elmira Home Comfort is looking for a reliable and flexible Part-Time Retail & Operations Associate to join our team. This is a wide-ranging “float” position that helps wherever needed throughout the store, including retail sales, warehouse tasks, basic office/admin work, cleaning, organizing, and general day-to-day store support.

This role would be a good fit for someone who enjoys variety, is comfortable switching between different tasks, and is willing to jump in wherever help is needed.

Responsibilities:

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer basic product questions and assist customers with purchases
- Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately
- Help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and stocked
- Assist with receiving, moving, organizing, and preparing merchandise
- Help in the warehouse with general organization and inventory tasks
- Complete basic office and administrative duties as needed
- Answer phones and assist with general customer inquiries
- Help with cleaning throughout the store, warehouse, wash bay, office, and common areas
- Label, organize, and prepare products for the sales floor
- Assist other team members with day-to-day tasks and projects
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized workplace

Qualifications:





- Friendly and comfortable dealing with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable using a computer and learning basic office systems
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Willing to clean and complete hands-on tasks
- Able to lift and move appliances or merchandise when required
- Comfortable working in both a retail and warehouse environment
- Previous retail, warehouse, customer service, or office experience is an asset, but not required
- Must be available to work Saturdays
- Flexible availability during the week is an asset

We’re looking for someone who is flexible and doesn’t mind doing a little bit of everything. Some days may be more customer-service focused, while others may involve warehouse work, cleaning, organizing, or helping with office tasks. A positive attitude and willingness to help are more important to us than experience in every area.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
